Mountaintop View

In this picture we see your humble photographer after she's just climbed roughly 1000 feet straight up as fast as possible to get away from those awful Alaskan mosquitoes. And the view was more than worth it too. Wow. In the background, over my left shoulder, one can see Denali (aka Mt. McKinley) looming. A little ways from my left elbow you can just make out Kantishna Roadhouse, where we stayed for a couple of days, experiencing the deep wilderness 100 miles inside the National Park in a resort setting.
